Dreamcast Music Replacement

The aim is to take existing Sega Dreamcast games, and replace the music in them, to possibly revitalize these titles in the player's mind. I'm not going to get into HOW I did it, so please don't ask me for instructions. You can find them yourself if you search online. You will need 7zip in order to extract the CDI file. You then must burn the CDI file at a low speed (like 8x or less) to an 80-minute CD-R using DiscJuggler. Use other tools at your own transgression.

Click the name of the game to download. This will load the Megaupload page. There's a four letter code there that you have to type in to continue. Type it in and click download. On the next screen, hit "Regular download".

Game Comparisons

Sometimes a single game will come to multiple consoles, and each version will have it's own pros and cons. These differences are often ignored, leaving the many people wondering which version of the game is truly the best. That is what these features are here to remedy.

Resident Evil - Playstation vs Saturn

Game Enhancement Compilations

Quite a few PC games have made such a lasting impression on it's fans, that they refuse to allow it to become/appear dated, and so they take to giving the game a brand new coat of paint, with new visual and aural upgrades, and sometimes even new gameplay elements which have since become standard to the respective genre. The only problem is, these multi-man projects are often unorganized, and it can be intimidating to the casual fan in terms of hunting down the upgrades, and installing them properly. This is where I do the work for you.

Doomsday: Doom + Heretic + Hexen
The Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind

Game Reviews

I am a big fan of past-generation video games, as well as some modern stuff. There is no harm in reviewing a game, no matter it's age.

DragonForce, for the Sega Saturn
Elemental Gimmick Gear, for the Sega Dreamcast
Gunstar Super Heroes, for the Gameboy Advance
Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap, for the Gameboy Advance
Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy, for the PC
Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines, for the PC

Game Soundtrack Rips

Something else I do occassionally is extract music from videogames and convert them to MP3. Usually it's from underrated titles where the soundtrack is hard to come by, if there even is one. In this industry, music is often overlooked or ignored, but I think videogames have had a wealth of brilliant scores and melodies that simply couldn't have been used properly in film or television. I've ripped dozens of albums over the years. I'll be periodically adding the worthwhile ones here. Give them a listen, even if you haven't played the game before.

The salvaged remains of my deleted Destructoid blog. Deleted by none other than Jim Sterling, who's hypocrisy spoke louder than his flamebait act. That's what happens when you troll King Troll.

Wallpapers

I've been known to make a few decent desktop wallpapers in the past. I'll just provide the link, and a bit of info.

Guild Wars - Just a simple but amazing screenshot.
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic - Same as above.
Megaman Battle Network - A couple portraits applied over a Winamp visualization that resembles the Jack-In screen.
Trigun (1) - Various Trigun imagry embedded in a background.
Trigun (2) - From sketch to final product.
Vagrant Story - The three main characters.
Viewtiful Joe - Every Joe was scanned by me from the game's manual, and then fixed up, as was the logo.
